DIRECTOR & PRINCIPAL
EXPERIENCED ENVIRONMENTAL AND HAZARDOUS CHEMICAL/DANGEROUS GOODS ADVISOR
Over 21 years professional environmental management experience, with specialist skills in hazardous chemical / dangerous goods compliance and traffic engineering. Having worked in both private and public sectors, I am a strong advocate of using sustainable and collaborative approaches to achieve continuous improvement.
With a background largely in environmental engineering, my experience covers a diverse range of disciplines including water, air and noise monitoring and pollution control; mining and heavy industry environmental management; solid waste management; geographic information systems (GIS); contaminated site assessment and remediation; risk assessment and management; auditing; and hazardous chemicals/ dangerous goods compliance. Inevitably, safety and quality management experience has also been gained due to the nature and locations of work completed and involvement in integrated management systems. My experience also includes a broad range of projects in traffic engineering; transport planning; and road safety.
My knowledge and experience has been achieved through a combination of individual and team based work, direct involvement in undertaking assessments and audits, field work and development of management systems but also as a project manager in successfully supervising others to accomplish project goals.
